Today marks the arrival of a new ExpressionEngine add-on called Meetup. Meetup allows you to pull meetup.com data into your ExpressionEngine site and display using simple template tags. Meetup comes with a plethora of template tags that makes it possible to display groups, events, member info, and more. 

Meetup initially started so the Los Angeles ExpressionEngine Meetup group could build a dedicated site (as a collaboration between Kelly Sims and I) but that never really took off. Still, it’s full featured and ready for production so don’t let the history stop you. Meetup comes with the below template tags.
