Hello world!

So, just what the hell is this here then? I know what you're thinking; Another technology company founded by a cocky programmer?
Yup, that's exactly what this is.
After working for years as a web developer and programmer, alternating between being a mercenary programmer for hire or a corporate sell out, it finally dawned on me how futile my efforts were. Don't get me wrong; there's knowledge to be gained and money to be made for anyone with half a bit of talent for web development (especially in the agency world). All you have to do is site back and follow the traditional career paths. And, truthfully, I certainly enjoyed the ride. But, in the end, there is a ceiling with that career path and 2 years ago, after leaving my previous corporate gig, I realized I'd hit it. I'd had enough.
Enough with the long hours and constant pay scale. I'd had enough of the constant meetings and back and forth, spending more time than the task to debate the task. I'd had enough of the ever shortening deadlines and the increasing requirements. Enough of the evangelizing to the deaf, blind and dumb. More though, I was just tired from the 80+ hour weeks and stress of working in a thankless job.
So, I start a company with the express mission to keep me from having to work for anyone ever again. Should be simple enough.
I'll go into more detail on what happened over the last 2 years another time (got to have something to write about) but for now I just wanted to get it out there that this is real. For me if nothing else.
