Today’s big announcement is the introduction of Facebook Friends support for social influencers! Now, as a part of logging in, linking profiles, and tallying your total scores, your Facebook Friends are taken into account. And, of course, this means you also have the option to monetize your Facebook Friends with VITY, too, so get ready for the campaign invites to come a’ floodin’ in.

At this stage, we’re only asking for the most basic of permissions for accessing your Facebook account, though once we get Facebook Pages in the works that’ll change. Due to the “rules” of Facebook, be aware that they cap your maximum Facebook Friend count at around 5,000 (we’ve noticed inconsistencies on any “hard” limits) so that’s the number we can work with. Know that this is only the first step in our planned integration with Facebook, so there are going to be lots more to look forward to in the future (once we get Facebook approval). 

With this update,  social influencers can now link up their Twitter Followers, Instagram Followers, Youtube Subscribers, Vine Subscribers, and now Facebook Friends. Lots and lots of monetization vectors possible now but we have even more planned and in the works.
