The details are pretty simple: purchasing a developer license entitles the owner to install Backup Pro on an unlimited number of servers and an unlimited number of their clients sites. It's a clear win for developers who want to take care of their clients but feel that the continued expense of purchasing repeated licenses can be overwhelming at times.

As usual, there's also the free access to updates for the life of the version so staying up to date won't be a concern at all.
