Backup Pro 1.9 Released

Backup Pro
Backup Pro has been updated to 1.9 today to include a new database backup engine, fix a few bugs, and for some interface tweaks.
First, the new backup engine will allow for doing the default PHP option or, if you’re able, to use the built in Mysql tool, mysqldump. If you’re not familiar, mysqldump is a very effective method for taking a backup and one that is quite reliable. To enable, just visit your settings area and choose mysqldump from the Database Backup setting. Be aware that choosing this option will also require that the database restore option be mysql.
Which brings me to the new Database restore option: MySQL. You can now choose to use the MySQL tool directly to restore your database. Very useful if you’re restoring a large database.
